How to add Goal widgets on your Mac desktop
Add Goal Getter widgets to your Mac’s desktop to track your goals and habits while working.
Step-by-step instructions:
1. Open Notification Center
- Click the date and time in the top-right corner of your Mac
- Or swipe left from the right edge of your trackpad
2. Scroll to the bottom
- Scroll down to the bottom of the Notification Center
- Click “Edit Widgets”
3. Search for Goal Getter
- Type “Goal Getter” in the search bar
- Select Goal Getter from the results
4. Choose your widget size
- Select from small, medium, or large widget sizes
- Each size shows different information:
- Small: Single goal progress
- Medium: Multiple goals overview
- Large: Detailed progress with charts
5. Add to desktop
- Click “Add Widget” to place it on your desktop
- Drag to your desired location
- Click “Done” to finish

Widget not appearing?
- Make sure you’re running macOS Big Sur or later
